Here is Hudson in his favorite swing. His aunt's went through a lot of trouble getting the swing to VA. He loves it and can't wait to meet his aunts.

Here are some random pictures of Hudson. The blue blanket was made by his Nana and obviously he loves it.
Here are pictures from Hudson Thomas Reese's birth. He was born on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 12:30. After 32 hours of labor and no continued dilation from 8 centimeters, I was forced to have a c-section. The surgery only took 45 minutes from start to finish. This is not the delivery path I thought I would take, but Hudson had full control of the situation. It was a very scary thing to face, considering I have never had any kind of surgery in my life. All turned out well, and we are blessed with a healthy baby boy.
My stay at the hospital was three days instead of four. I was in a lot of pain at first but the pain has gotten a lot better over the past 6 days. The staff at Martha Jefferson was amazing and really helped Tim and I transition from being just the two of us to a family of three. Tim has changed all of Hudson's diapers since his birth in order to help me recover quicker. He has been a god sent.
My parents are here for 12 days. They flew in on Saturday night and I was released from the hospital on Sunday morning. It is amazing how well the planning of all of this worked out. I can't imagine Hudson coming on his due date and only having a couple of days with my parents here. Hudson's early arrival was almost perfect.
