A day at the park

On Sunday night Hudson's Nanna and Grandpa suprised us with a week long visit. Hudson is so excited to spend time with them. The last time he saw them he was 5 months old. Today they all went to the playground and took a walk. Hudson loves the swings at the playground. I am excited to have my parents here for my birthday:)

Shopping with Mom, Grandpa, and Nanna

Hudson loves to go grocery shopping. He is sitting in the cart all by himself. He keeps him self occupied by eating all of his toys.

Cherrios

Hudson just starting eating cherrios. He is starting to get the hang of it. Sometimes he has a hard time getting the cherrios to his mouth. Regardless of his efforts, he makes a huge mess. He has 8 teeth right now, and he is really chewing those Cherrios.

Ride 'Em Cowboy

Hudson is now 6 1/2 months old. He has grown so much in the past couple of weeks. He can sit up on his own now. He also is trying really hard to crawl. He is scooting around.
He loves this horsie. He was a little unsure of it at first but really giggles when he rides it now.

GO HOOS!

Hudson was cheering on UVA on Saturday. Unfortunatley, they lost pretty bad to USC . He is still a true fan.

A Labor Day Hike

We all went for a hike on a secluded trail at a park nearby yesterday. The weather was nice and we needed to get out of the house. This is only the second or third time Hudson has been in the baby backpack. He loved it so much yesterday. He was enamored with the trees and plants; so much like his dad and so much not like his mom:) He was very calm and so much in reflection that he almost fell asleep a few times. Look how happy Tim is to be carrying his son through the woods and pointing out plants to his son. I enjoyed it too!
