Lazy Saturday mornings

Here is Hudson's tree. It is a Cherry tree that his Great-Aunt Sue bought when he was born. It is finally blooming and is beautiful.

It was a beautiful March day today. We had a great time outside today. Hudon loves to play with the ball and practice walking. He can't do it on his own yet, but it he loves to practice.

Hudson loves to talk on his play phone. He loves it so much that now he answers and talks to a block. He takes these phone conversations very seriously.

Opening Boxes

Opening boxes and then pulling out the paper is one of Hudson's favorite things to do. He is in the stage where he likes to take things out. Developmentally, this is where he should be; I just wish he was at the stage at putting it all back.

SNOW DAY

Hudson played in the snow for the first time today. Virginia got over 5 inches of snow. Both Tim and I had off work. It was great to spend the day together as a family. It took us more time to get Hudson bundled up than we spent outside. We had a snow suit and snow boots waiting for this day to arrive. Hudson really enjoyed the snow. He giggled when we first put him in it; he almost got lost in it. He tasted it tried to climb in it. It was a day full of memories.

First Haircut

We decided that Hudson needed his first haircut when we couldn't stand to look at the rat tail anymore. He was a little uncertain and curious of the man with the scissors. He was very good, and we walked out of the barbershop without a nick. We got a certificate and an envelope of his hair. I cried because my son is now a big boy, and I can't believe how fast time has gone by.
